How trials, billing, SMS allowances, data isolation and support work in Locksmithy Business.
Locksmithy Business is designed for service businesses that manage jobs, staff, stock, purchasing and customer billing across a shopfront, workshop, field team or fully mobile operation. Locksmith-specific tools are available for locksmith businesses, but the core operational platform is not limited to locksmithing.
New business workspaces receive 30 days of trial access. You can set up Square payment during the trial; the paid subscription period is scheduled around the trial end rather than charging immediately.
No. Payment details are not required to create the workspace. The Account Owner can add a Square payment method from Business Admin → Billing.
Customer SMS is blocked at the server once the company has consumed its monthly carrier SMS-unit allowance. Email and other non-SMS features continue to work. The allowance resets at the beginning of the next Melbourne calendar month unless the Site Owner changes the tier or custom allowance sooner.
Outbound customer SMS sent through Locksmithy Business via Mobile Message counts in carrier SMS units. ServiceM8 Reporting / Collection Follow-up SMS is separate: it is sent by ServiceM8 and uses ServiceM8 SMS credits. Long or Unicode messages can span multiple carrier segments and consume multiple units. Unsent messages blocked before provider dispatch do not consume the allowance unless delivery became uncertain after provider dispatch.
Yes. Tier 5 is a custom arrangement with a custom monthly price and SMS-unit allowance. The Site Owner can also place selected companies on Free Access, with an optional end date.
The company can have a configurable payment-failure grace period. The Account Owner can update the Square payment method and check payment status from the Billing page. Access pauses after the grace period if payment remains unresolved.
Normal company data is tenant-scoped. Site Owner support access is explicit, audited and read-only by default. Temporary write access requires additional MFA verification and expires automatically.
Site Owner controls include a private company export and archive/retention workflow. Company deletion is intentionally review-based rather than an automatic hard-delete at a timer expiry.
Use the in-app support area or the public Contact page. Subscription and cancellation terms are published on the Terms page and billing changes are recorded in the company billing history.
